Avec son nouvel album « Here and Now », Rawb continue de défendre un reggae moderne et inspiré. Sur scène comme en streaming, sa musique à l’ADN tropical trouve un écho certain auprès d’une génération en recherche de sincérité et de générosité. Né à la Réunion, expatrié en métropole, Rawb a fait le grand saut, quitté l’usine pour devenir artiste. Grand bien lui en a pris car en l’espace de deux années il est devenu une figure qui compte dans le paysage reggae européen (premières parties de Dub Inc, Naâman, Biga*Ranx, Groundation et nombreux festivals).

Avec Trka, beatmaker et DJ du projet, ils produisent ensemble dans leur labo parisien un reggae urbain qui oscille entre hip-hop, roots, dancehall et pop. Les 12 titres de « Here and Now » (dont 3 en français ou créole réunionnais et 3 featuring avec Jahneration, Volodia et Maylan Manaza) définissent à merveille ce qu’est aujourd’hui le projet Rawb : une couleur clairement digitale mélangée à des sonorités organiques et une voix catchy qui accroche à chaque phrase. L’humilité et le dépassement de soi comme boussole, la musique comme exutoire, Rawb lance un appel à vivre l’instant présent.
